bwin is one of the biggest players in online gaming and has been offering games on the internet since 1999, when it was founded under its original name, Simon Bold Ltd. Two years later - in 2001 - the Austrian public company bwin Interactive Entertainment AG bought the company, giving it its new name. It is licensed by the Malta Lottery and Gaming Authority (LGA), which translates into tax-free winnings for its players. Betway.com has launched in 19 European countries since its inception. Betsson launched its poker site on 30th June, 2004. Betsson is a member of the Ongame poker network, which also counts The Poker Club and PokerRoom as members. InterPoker is a very popular poker room that serves as the flagship for the Cryptologic network. InterPoker is managed by InterCasino, one of the world's biggest casinos. Cassava Enterprises Ltd owns Pacific Poker, as well as Casino-on-Net, which is one of the world's largest casinos and was launched as early as 1996. So, they definitely have the experience to manage and handle a poker room. Pacific Poker was one of the first poker rooms and as many casino players also tried out poker, good players found the game very loose and rewarding. PokerStars counts as the next largest and most popular online poker room.
